Application and Process:
Testing for new entrants is done strictly on an as needed basis and may not be done each year. We indenture approximately ten to twenty apprentices yearly. Applications are available on this Web site or by contacting our office directly at (510) 748-7413. Filed applications are held in office until such time as testing occurs. Applicants are then invited to attend a mandatory testing and orientation day. After successfully passing both testing and orientation, qualified applicants are placed on a waiting list until such time as placement occurs.
